The Mrs. is an awesome cake decorator. As a matter of fact the Mrs. is a pretty awesome anything she does. Before clan Daniel moved to the Pearl, the Mrs. had a pretty nice little catering business on the side. After we moved to the Pearl we decided that it had become too time consuming so she gave it up. She then got into cake decorating and was doing quite a few cakes here locally until her newspaper adventure forced her out of the cake business. Now she's easing back into it and she had two that needed done this weekend.
This one she made Friday for a friends daughters birthday. I may be biased but I think it looks as good as anything you would see on Cake Boss or Ace of Cakes. 
This cake she made on Saturday for a 4 year old boys birthday party. Everything is edible except the army men. You can imagine that with 2 cakes made in 2 days there is lots of cake and icing left over. What to do with it all???
Let the whipper-snappers decorate their own cakes.
Not too bad are they?Bub's is on the left, Sissy's is in the middle top and Sisters is on the right.
Of course making is not near as fun as eating!
They seemed to attack this part with as much enthusiasm as the decorating.
It pays to have a momma in the bizz I guess.
