Sunday night at the drive-in

Labor Day weekend usually means but one thing with clan Daniel. We are usually taking the travel trailer down to the in-laws farm in east Texas where we deer hunt and set it up for the season. This year was a little different as we have Bub playing football and Sissy cheer leading. Their games are on Saturdays and they are all at 1:30 in the afternoon so it kinda kills a Saturday. Add that to the fact that we had obligations at church on Sunday and we just decided to stay at home this weekend. Last night the Mrs. suggested that we go to the drive-in movies at a town almost an hour from our home where they have a double feature and they are both kid friendly. That sounded like a good idea so we all piled into the suburban with pillows and blankets and were off. The Mrs. still has a paper to put out holiday weekend or not so she had to work during intermission.
The kids spent their time before the movie and during intermission playing their DS's. Keeps em' happy.

Notice the old car speaker at lower right? Nice for nostalgia sake but now you tune your car stereo in to pick up the audio.
Ain't they cute!

It was a good evening! Brings back lots of memories from my childhood. Nice relaxing weekend!
