With the last post I let you know what we have been doing with Jake. Are you wondering what Trigger is up to? This is a pic the Mrs. caught one morning a couple of weeks ago. Trigger loves the goats. If we keep Trigger for Jake then we definitely keep the goats for Trigger.
How about the chickens? Check this out. Our first egg!
And up to this point our only egg! We found this 3 or 4 days ago and have been religiously checking each day but no luck.
Of course we had to take it in and cook it immediately.
Look at that dark, rich yolk. If we could just get 7 or 8 of these each day we would be in business.
Dad got to try the first bite.
Then it was sisters turn.
And Bub finished it off. Straight from the chickens butt to our table. Wow!
