What's been happening with the horse situation you may be asking. Well, I would like to tell you that we are using both horses regularly and going on long trail rides each week. yea right! It has been a slow process up to now mostly because of a lack of time. I'm no professional horse trainer but I do know one thing, time and consistency are two of the most important elements in the process.
We have recently decided to concentrate our efforts on Jake for now. He is doing great and is really close to being where we want him to be. His biggest problem is he is a little lazy.
Fortunately we recently found a great deal on a round pen through Craig's List. It was our 1st experience with purchasing anything through that type of service and we were very pleased.
We have enjoyed all the time (not enough) that we get to spend on our mini-farm.
I think the kids are enjoying as well.
